Welcome 17 + 18 Xemias + Dux by ~Hashipollo:iconHashipollo:

“Oh! This is so exciting! Our first members are here and we get to meet them! I wonder if they’re cute,” Naxan squealed, wiggling where she stood, her green pigtails waving side to side. Naxan then began bouncing and could hardly contain her excitement.

She was the second superior of the Neo-Organization. Above her was a young man that went by the name Shinx. The individual below Naxan was Xahshi. Today, all three congregated within a great white room. The image of the Nobody was inlaid in the white walls, and there was hardly any furniture in this particular room of the castle.

Shinx was standing with his hands at his hips and waiting, patiently… something that was rare. Naxan, busy squealing, wiggled close to Shinx. “Shinx! Umm… Sir… we get to meet them, don’t we?”

“Of course, unless The Satirical Author screwed up with the paperwork.”

Both Naxan and Shinx glanced to the longhaired, glasses wearing Nobody. He was hard at work; memorizing information he had stuck to a clipboard to notice the stares. After a while, he could feel their eyes upon him. He looked up and gave the two superiors an uncaring gaze.

“Did Xahshi mess something up?” asked Naxan with a giggle.

Xahshi lowered his clipboard and adjusted his glasses. “I do not make mistakes such as this. We arrived here early to be sure we were here before the new recruits.”

All at once, two portals appeared. Naxan jumped and watched, waiting eagerly. Shinx took a nervous step away from the dark portals. Naxan was even more excited. Two portals meant two new Nobodies. The dark cloudy smoke like portals remained open with no one coming out of them at first. The wait was torturous to the green haired Nobody. Finally, emerging from the portals were two men.

“Bienvenue! Bienvenue!” cried out Shinx. His monochromatic hair bounced lightly as he did. Xahshi was attempting to correct Shinx as the two men approached. The eyebrow of one of the men slowly rose while listening. He could understand what Shinx had said; as it was his native tongue. “Salut. Bonjour,” was his reply, with a mischievous grin. Shinx perked up and was happy to hear the French words. He had someone to converse with now.

The man, who had spoken out in French, was taller than all three of the superiors. His hair extended just to above his shoulders, and was silver in color. The man’s eyes were, however, black as night; and his skin, pale as snow. This man was known as Dux. His coat was open, exposing his alluring chest and subtle stomach. Another noticeable aspect about him was that he had pointy ears. Dux stood, calm, and relaxed, but aware of all that was around him.

Standing nervously in front of Dux, was a shorter, wild haired boyish man. His eyes were of two different colors; his left was orange, while his right was red. A large scar traveled from the left side of his forehead down, past his eye, and over his cheek. This was Xemias. His tattered cloak was one thing that set him apart from the others.

Shinx was delighted. He stepped closer to the men and checked them over. Dux was smiling, but Xemias was nervously poking his index fingers together. Shinx and Xemias stared at each other in silence a moment. Then, without warning, Shinx thrust his hand towards Xemias for a simple handshake. The action, however, was not well received.

Xemias took a quick step backwards and brought his bandaged fists up into a defensive stance. Had Dux not been quick on his feet, and in his mind, he would have been bumped into; however, this was not the case. With a fluid motion, he had moved to the side and avoided any contact whatsoever. Xemias was still standing in his defensive position, ready to take Shinx on.

The reaction was far from what Shinx expected and he was taken aback. Naxan gasped as she watched, and Xahshi took a small step towards the two. “Shinx…” he said, with some worry in his voice. Naxan squirmed and whined, “Superior, be careful.”

Dux moved a little closer to Xemias and brought a hand out of his pocket. The milky colored skin of his hand touched Xemias’s shoulder. The light touch was enough to settle the Nobody. Xemias lowered his hands.

“Xemias… is sorry?” Xemias muttered, almost making it sound like a question. In all actuality, Xemias had failed to understand what was going on. Shinx’s eyes were set on Xemias, full of suspicion. Dux took note and spoke up for the other Nobody.

“So sorry, my friends… Xemias here is… a bit special, you see. His grasp on things is weaker than most, and he does not understand as much as you and I.”

Naxan moved to Shinx’s side and hung on his arm a bit. The superior’s expression softened at once. Xemias repeated, “This one is sorry.”

To avoid getting another negative reaction, Shinx offered his hand to Dux this time. The white skinned Nobody grinned, clasping the other’s hand. They shook hands, both clenching the other’s. Shinx’s impression of Dux was immediately turned to the good. He liked how the white Nobody rolled; calm, collected, and clever.

“Bienvenue dix-sept.”

Xahshi twitched in annoyance from not understanding the language. “Excuse me, superior… but could you please speak in Enlgish. Not all of us understand.”

Shinx looked over his shoulder and stated, “I just told number seventeen welcome.”

Xahshi looked to his clipboard and muttered, “That is not number seventeen. Records show that Xemias is seventeen Dux registered after Xemias. Shinx gave Xahshi a glare that said, ‘I’m right, you’re wrong’. Xahshi was unaffected and just tapped his clipboards, showing that the records came prior to Shinx’s own notions. After a short time, Shinx gave in.

“Fine. Welcome,” he said, “Welcome, number eighteen.” Shinx then looked to Xemias with a smile, “And welcome, number seventeen. We are more than happy to have you here.”

Naxan was blushing slightly as she watched Dux. His eyes seemed to be closed, and he had a most evil smile. It was her turn to welcome him now. She stepped forward and held out her hand. “Welcome,” she said.

Dux opened his eye and smiled a new kind of smile. It was less smirkish than previously. He took up the woman’s hand and knelt down to one knee. Naxan’s face burst into a red blushy mess. Dux’s lips touched the girl’s hand and then he patted the top of it gently, while looking up at his superior. “My thanks for the lovely welcome, superior.”

The green haired girl giggled and looked to Xemias, with her blush still present, and said, “Welcome, Xemias. You’re so cute.”

Dux stood back up and grinned, Xemias looked around, Naxan tried to stay close to Dux, Shinx watched Xemias with interest, and Xahshi scribbled some things down on his clipboard.
